We invite a Senior BackEnd Engineer to join the VeliEDGE product team.

Tech stack:

Node.JS, PHP 8, Laravel, React.JS, MySQL, AWS, Docker, k8s, Kafka, and Redis

In this role, you will:

• Implementing the new features to the product
• Take part in building and maintaining company products
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment
• Make periodic code review and optimization
• Exploring new ideas and the best solutions
• You will be challenged to meet high standards and deliver constant improvement in everything you do

Skills and experience you will need:

• Strong proficiency in NodeJs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and scalable (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse)
• Experience with k8s, Kafka
• Knowledge of architectural patterns and design patterns
• Experience with high-load
• Linux/Unix-based operating systems and a command-line interface experience;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban);
• Experience with unit tests
• Knowledge of OOP, and design patterns
• Product-oriented mindset

Will be a plus:

• Strong proficiency in PHP 7+, Laravel
• Understanding of system design approaches such as DDD, CQRS, MA, and other architectural patterns
• Proficient in English
• Excellent problem-solving skills
