Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic on-site team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ML and a proven track record of managing end-to-end ML projects, from data acquisition and labeling to model building and deployment.

In this role, you will develop advanced algorithms that enhance our drone detection and tracking capabilities, directly contributing to technologies that have a true global impact on security and safety. Please note that this is an on-site position in Vantaa, and remote work is not available. The position is available for immediate start.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development and maintenance of ML and computer vision models for real-time drone detection and classification.
• Manage the ML project lifecycle including data acquisition, data labeling, model development, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions on edge devices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
• Refine algorithms to ensure high accuracy and performance in dynamic environments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML and apply them to our systems.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Python and PyTorch.
• Proven experience in developing and managing end-to-end ML projects, including data acquisition, labeling, model building, and deployment.
• Experience with computer vision techniques and image processing.
• Ability to create and deploy models from scratch.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with signal processing (FFT, OFDM, PSK).
• Familiarity with deploying ML models on edge devices.
• Proficiency in C++.
