Job Description

• Leading various IT projects with a focus on infrastructure and core IT projects (especially in the areas of virtualization, server platforms, client systems, and core applications)
• Full responsibility for achieving project goals, including developing project plans (time, cost, resources, structure)
• Coordinating interdisciplinary project teams (acting as an interface between departments, the project team, and external vendors)
• Serving as a link between different IT areas and other company departments
• Project controlling and regular reporting to the project sponsor and/or steering committee
• Presenting to management and preparing decision-making materials
• Contributing to the design and optimization of project management standards and tools
  
  

Qualifications

• Completed higher education (HTL, university of applied sciences/university) in IT, business, or a related field and/or relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in leading IT infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of IT technologies and how they interact in complex system environments
• Experience in stakeholder management as well as managing service providers and external partners
• Strong organizational skills with an analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach
• Excellent command of both English and German, written and spoken
• Project management certification (e.g. PMI, IPMA) is an advantage

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): € 4.500 to € 5.800.
