Simulation & Analysis Engineer

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Simulation & Analysis Engineer, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute and analyze results of CAE calculations of transmissions within strength and durability. We use ANSA as pre-processor and the solver is Abaqus.

Support project leaders and design engineers with technical solutions and recommendations in all project phases (from concept design to running projects and maintenance). Our gearboxes will be installed in conventional and electrified power units. It is expected that the consultant presents and explains the results at meetings as well as in technical reports. The consultant will also contribute to method and tool development in the team.

Knowledge/Experience

• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Applied Mechanics or equivalent

• Programming competence in Matlab and Python is a strong plus, as well as some previous experience of transmission analysis from product development

• Should have a genuine technical interest, especially in mechanical systems, and be able to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
