Senior .NET Backend Developer – Cloud & Modernization Focus

We’re looking for a skilled Senior .NET Backend Developer to join a brand-new, cross-functional engineering team working on a greenfield project aimed at transforming the future of everyday banking services.

About the Role

You will join a product-focused team working on digital solutions that support everyday financial services like cards, accounts, and payments. The team is currently engaged in a significant modernization initiative, migrating core systems to a cloud-native architecture using AWS. You will play a key role in developing backend services, supporting platform scalability, and contributing to engineering best practices.

The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, and follows a hybrid work model (minimum 3 days onsite).

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend applications using .NET Core and C#
• Design and deploy services to AWS in a microservices environment
• Collaborate within a self-organizing Agile team on system improvements and new feature delivery
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code quality, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Participate in technical decision-making and system architecture discussions

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience building backend solutions using .NET Core and C#
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other public cloud providers
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server), ORMs like EF or Dapper, and event-based architecture (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Understanding of microservices principles and scalable architecture design
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized environments
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
