This position is located in Bucharest, Romania.

As a Marketing Data Analyst (m/f/d) you will empower our marketing and product teams to make smarter, data-backed decisions. You will play a key role in unlocking insights from customer and onsite data, driving personalization, campaign optimization, and seamless customer journeys across channels. Your work will have a direct impact on shaping how millions of users interact with Tchibo. In detail you:

Analyze customer and onsite data using SQL and Python to optimize marketing campaigns and operational decisions.
Design, expand, and optimize Data Science use cases such as next best offer, A/B testing strategies, and customer journey analytics.
Develop and deliver self-service BI solutions tailored to webshop analytics and customer segmentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge business questions with data-driven answers.
Ensure scalable, reliable, and interpretable models using best practices and modern tools.

Your profile: You keep reinventing us.

Must-Have Experience:

Proven experience in building forecasting models using machine learning and statistical methods.
Strong background in online marketing data analysis and onsite tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4).
Proficiency in applying and programming statistical methods with Python .
Advanced SQL skills (experience with BigQuery or Redshift is a plus).
Practical experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation design.

Technical Skills:

Solid programming skills in Python and SQL .
Knowledge of data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).
Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., Docker).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Hands-on with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit- learn).

Onsite Analytics Knowledge:

Understanding of digital optimization strategies and conversion metrics.
Experience working with GA4 raw data and web analytics.
Background in A/B testing tools and experimentation analysis.

Soft Skills:

Agile mindset with a hands-on and solution-oriented attitude.
Passion for working with people and communicating data insights effectively.
Curiosity for new technologies and eagerness to experiment.
Confident communication skills in English .
