Position: Network and Security Engineer – Summer Trainee

Duration:  3 months

Location:  Poland, Warsaw

Date : 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025

Education Recommendations: Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar

You will be a part of the team which is responsible for administration and maintenance of MN service laboratory network infrastructure. Our aim is to keep lab assets properly secured and provide reliable connectivity to our stakeholders from different Nokia business groups. As a summer trainee you will act under guidance of our Technical Leader.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will :

• manage and configure variety of network devices (switches and service routers from different vendors)
• work with tools : netbox, gitlab, vault, LibreNMS, Jira, ansible
• maintain physical and virtual lab assets for multiple labs using modern open-source tools
• document and maintain our internal IP networking, including IP address and VLAN information
• write scripts to support the lab equipment and processes
• interact with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation and improvement ideas
• be engaged into tasks in the area of information architecture, graphics editing, documentation tools maintenance, processes automation dependent on your skills
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You should have:

• Active student status (for at least one year) or Engineer degree studies in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent education
• Ability to use Linux command line in daily routines
• Ability to gather and synthesize technical information
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently
• Team-player attitude
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of IPv4, IPv6 routing protocols would be the advantage
