Machine Learning Engineer (AI Hacker)

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role within Germany for AI Engineers. The AI Engineer will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop methods to audit and validate AI systems.

Responsibilities

• You’ll help us develop our platform by supplying state-of-the-art methods of AI testing.
• You’ll follow AI security, fairness and privacy literature closely and adapt promising methods into our platform.
• You’ll research and validate new AI testing methods and advocate to put these methods in our platform.
• You’ll work on challenges we face during AI audits and come up with practical testing solutions and approaches.
• You’ll develop custom AI tests for our customers and improve them along the way.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts, architectures and methods.
• 3+ years of ML research or industry experience.
• Masters degree or higher.
• Good command of Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Practical knowledge or at least high interest of AI security, privacy and fairness.
• Knowledge of Git and Docker.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure etc.).
• Self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent English skills.

Bonus Points: The followings are not mandatory but if you fulfil any one of them, it’d be a cherry on top of the cake!

• Previous experience on AI fairness, adversarial attacks, AI explainability or AI privacy.
• German knowledge.
