Stokex Financial Technologies is looking for a skillful and curious Junior Data Engineer with basics in Data Science.
We are a small, agile, and technology-driven team building statistical and mathematical models using vast data sets and cutting-edge technology to help us gain an edge in the financial markets. The successful candidate should both be capable in using programming languages to build production grade streaming data services but also analyze and understand the underlying logic of our algorithms. Responsibilities
- Developing and debugging of real time trading systems
- Improving our internal ETLs and systems that process various data sources
Requirements
- BSc or studying in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics/Data Science or a related field or a proven track record in the industry.
- Ability to write clean and efficient code in Python.
- Experience building data feeds using various APIs via REST or Websocket protocols.
- Proficiency with RDBM systems like PostgreSQL or similar.
- Proficiency with linux, git.
- Basics in Statistics/Data Science.
- Familiarity with Financial markets.
