SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:

1. Project Management

  • Proficiency in managing all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Trello.

2. ERP System Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP modules, including finance, supply chain, HR, manufacturing, and CRM.
  • Familiarity with system configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Awareness of ERP system updates, migrations, and upgrade processes.
  • Understanding of data migration, security, and compliance considerations.

3. Business Process Expertise

  • Strong grasp of business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize workflows in areas such as finance, procurement, inventory, and human resources.
  • Cross-functional knowledge to align ERP solutions with organizational goals.

4. Communication and Leadership

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external vendors.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

5. Technical and Analytical

  • Proficiency in technical aspects of ERP implementation, such as data mapping, API integration, and system architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize solutions.
  • Knowledge of database management and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS models related to ERP systems.

6. Change Management

  • Expertise in developing and executing change management strategies.
  • Ability to train and support end-users to ensure adoption of ERP systems.
  • Managing resistance to change within the organization.

7. Organizational and Time Management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle detailed project plans and documentation.
  • Strong time management to meet tight deadlines and milestones.
