Our client, a globally respected Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is seeking an ambitious Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background to join their experienced team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cutting-edge mobile equipment technology while growing your career in project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering engineering projects from concept to completion. Working closely with a highly skilled internal engineering team, you'll also liaise with key external stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure project outcomes meet technical, financial, and time-based goals.
This is the ideal position for a mechanically capable engineer who enjoys working with people and is passionate about developing their project management capabilities in a supportive and technically advanced environment.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver engineering solutions
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources across the full project lifecycle
Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Monitor risks, quality, and compliance throughout the project phases
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the project team
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience or strong interest in transitioning into a project management role
Exposure to or experience in mobile equipment or similar heavy machinery
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Technically competent with an understanding of engineering principles and processes
Motivated, proactive, and looking to grow your career in project delivery
