What You Will Be Doing

Collaborate with a young, dynamic, and innovative team.
Develop cutting-edge cloud security products.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js), improving our codebase in meaningful ways.
Work on distributed systems that handle large-scale global operations.
Build and enhance backend systems using NestJS and related technologies.
Contribute to software development processes and best practices.
Test, debug, and document system code and architecture.
Collaborate with team members and other internal teams to analyze and resolve issues.
Analyze production traffic and identify potential flaws or inefficiencies.
Learn and share knowledge with the team through collaborative discussions and code reviews.

What We Need From You

2-4 years of professional experience in backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
Experience working with NestJS or similar frameworks.
Solid understanding of Node.js design patterns and best practices.
Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Amazon DocumentDB.
Basic familiarity with AWS or any other cloud provider.
Understanding of scalability challenges and experience with performant distributed applications.
Knowledge of Docker and Linux environments.
Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and backend performance considerations.
Enthusiasm for solving problems in an elegant and principled manner.
A team-oriented mindset, with a passion for collaboration, learning, and teaching.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to explain technical challenges and solutions effectively.
Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

Experience with other modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Familiarity with Redis or similar in-memory data stores.
Exposure to unit, integration, or load testing.
Experience working on large-scale cloud services.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Open source contributions or a strong interest in open source projects.
