Technical Lead Engineer - Ocean Technologies

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Lead Engineer to join our high-achieving operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager – KD Operations. Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Oversee and assist in planning and execution of engineering in projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and requirements.
• Technical Excellence: Serve as the “technical partner” to our project managers, ensuring technical excellence, proactively managing risks, and driving alignment with project goals and stakeholder requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the engineering teams.
  
  

Your Role

As a Technical Lead Engineer, you will:

• Support project managers with project execution.
• Be an essential member of the team, enhancing engineering capabilities and structure the delivery process for Ocean Technologies through Ocean Science, Mapping, PosCom and Naval projects.
• Drive or support the creation of smarter, more efficient work routines and tools.
• Foster a learning organization by being curious and proactive.
  
  

We Think You Should Have

• Higher education on BSc or MSc level.
• Experience from project engineering and delivery project process.
• Experience with sales and sales process.
• Mindset for taking responsibility and ownership.
• The ability to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals.
