We are seeking a talented and motivated ✨ Application Developer ✨ to join our team and contribute to the development of applications based on Microsoft technologies. You will be responsible for system and business analysis, programming, and maintaining software solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality deliverables through detailed solution planning and rigorous testing.

Work location: Slovenia (Ljubljana, Maribor or Nova Gorica).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct system and business analysis to prepare detailed solution plans.
• Program applications based on Microsoft technologies using Microsoft Visual Studio (version 2019 or newer).
• Utilize fundamental concepts in relational databases, including database design methodologies.
• Evaluate the scope and complexity of requirements and create detailed solution plans.
• Perform unit testing, prepare test reports, and document test results.
• Apply solid understanding of application development principles, including programming, testing, debugging, and maintaining software.
• Develop and utilize web applications and complex data processing and exchange.
• Work with re-engineering processes, understanding system operation and architecture from the program code.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in system and business analysis, programming applications based on Microsoft technologies, and using Microsoft Visual Studio (version 2019 or newer).
• .NET Framework (version 2.0 or newer)
• ASP.NET development
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• REST architecture
• ADO.NET or OLE.DB
• Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) (version 7.0 or newer)

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including:

• Transact-SQL language
• Development of SQL procedures and functions
• Creation of views and tables
• Setting up and maintaining replication
• Creation of SQL jobs (SQL Server Agent jobs)
• Expertise with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Required XML knowledge:

• XML 1.0
• SOAP 1.1 / SOAP 1.2
• XSLT 1.0
• WSDL 1.1
• XML Namespaces
• WS- specifications

Qualifications

• Higher university education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Formal certifications in Microsoft technologies or development methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based development and integration, especially using Azure services.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Fluency in Slovenian language and meet the legal requirements to be employed in Slovenia.
