Cyber Security Specialist

Overview:

Seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Officer to lead and enhance the Cybersecurity Incident Management and Response capabilities in alignment with organizational risk appetite and evolving threats. This role is responsible for managing incident lifecycle processes, collaborating closely with Security Operations (SOC), and driving improvements across the cybersecurity function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity incident response strategies and capabilities.
• Define and maintain documentation, service descriptions, and tactical roadmaps.
• Actively participate in internal and external cybersecurity and threat intelligence forums.
• Collaborate with SOC and stakeholders to respond to incidents and breaches, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Support and drive the cybersecurity threat intelligence program and contribute to decision-making with relevant threat data.
• Deliver KPI and maturity reports to stakeholders, propose QA activities, and follow up on critical security incidents.
• Ensure alignment of cybersecurity incident processes across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage vendor relationships to meet cybersecurity standards.
• Support daily operational tasks within the Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance area including backlog management and change requests.

Competence Requirements:

• Strong motivation to enhance cybersecurity resilience and foster a security-first culture.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, incident response best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in SIEM tools, threat detection, forensics, and security assessments.
• Comfortable working in hybrid environments including public/private cloud and XaaS models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business units.
