About the role: Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong Java background and a passion for building scalable, high-performance fintech applications. Our team consists of talented engineers, and now, we’re opening our doors to new bright minds to join us on this journey. Bring your ideas, and help represent the most recognized Turkish brand on a global stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level fintech applications using modern Java frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to transform business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure high standards of code quality and software engineering best practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centric thinking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, preferably in fintech or payment systems environments.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in J2EE application development.
• Proficiency in Java, with solid experience using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience in payment facilitator, e-money, wallet, B2B payment solutions, acquiring or issuing systems is a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of React.js, HTML5, and TypeScript for front-end integration.
• Messaging system experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
• Experience in microservice architecture, containerized environments with Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Couchbase, Redis, or similar caching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL database systems.
• A strong team player who can adapt to and enhance a well-functioning team dynamic.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive clarity in complex situations.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
