We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join a small, fast-growing, high-performing team. You don’t need prior B2B or startup marketing experience – but you should be curious, ambitious, a get-stuff-done-er, and a phenomenal designer with client-facing experience. You should also be a strong communicator who understands how great design connects to business goals.
Your responsibilities - or how you’ll be spending your day
- Design various social media templates so the team can easily create plug-and-play graphics that are always on brand.
- Photoshop images from a client event to pass off to the marketing team for an upcoming blog post.
- Design a conference booth for a client – with company swag to accompany it, of course.
- Craft webinar banners, social posts & emails to help drive sign ups to an upcoming webinar.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas beyond just execution.
- Assist in creation of a brand style guide and help coach team members to adhere to design guidelines to maintain company wide consistency.
- Continuously elevate the company brand by dreaming up new design ideas, creating standout company swag, and bringing a fresh perspective to everything we do. The sky’s the limit!
Your qualifications - or things you’re good at
- Solid proficiency in English writing is important – enough to communicate clearly with the team and create polished materials.
- 4 - 7 years experience with Adobe programs (you’re super comfortable using Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop in particular).
- You have a rockstar portfolio that clearly shows your experience with both digital and print design. And you’re comfortable working with a style guide to create engaging graphics that are also on brand.
- Web design and UX/UI expertise: You have hands-on experience designing websites and user interfaces, not just a good eye. You understand the principles of intuitive, user-centered design and can create web pages, landing pages, and simple flows that look great and feel effortless to use. You can also share smart feedback to help improve existing designs.
- Superb communication skills. You’re a top notch over-communicator. You want to make everyone’s lives easier and are always thinking of ways to give those around you the tools to use design assets effectively.
- Detail-obsessiveness and Getting Stuff Done-ness: You hate the thought of anything slipping through the cracks and you practice Inbox Zero religiously. You insist on keeping your design files neat and label your layers to the point of obsession so they're ready at a moment’s notice to pass off. Your file organization is superb, if you went on a month long vacation, everyone on the team could easily find what they needed.
- Ambitious, curious, resourceful, and fast: You may not have all the answers, but you’re an expert at figuring out how to get it done. You move quickly while being careful and diligent, and you thrive under fast turnarounds. You’re excited about new tools — especially AI — and are curious about how they can make your work even better, faster, and more creative. You welcome feedback and are always looking for ways to improve.
- A plus if you also have experience using Figma, Canva, Wordpress, basic HTML/CSS knowledge, and/or have experience or interest in animation, motion graphics or illustration. Eagerness to learn and pick up new skills to add to your toolkit is absolutely essential.
- You’re the person everyone wants on their team. You’re a ray of sunshine and positivity. You like people, and people like you. 🌞
