Background

Our IT team are continuously looking to identify opportunities to use technology to deliver "value add" and always looking to update the existing infrastructure and application environment using the best in class technology platforms.

In this role you will have responsibility for Business Applications and Digital Program Delivery - for the support and transformation of the Digital Application landscape.

You will

1. Be the voice of the business within IT
2. capture business requirements and ensure these requirements are converted into actionable insights/ initiatives and delivered successfully
3. define and deliver the digital strategy and roadmap in terms of business applications, platform, and application development & delivery model.
4. Transformation Change Management – Implement strategy, brining people on the journey, stakeholder engagement and management, regular update - communication management, help people to adapt / embrace change so awareness and training across all levels within the business is important.

Experience

1. Over 15 year in IT, at least 7 at management level, ideally within Financial Services and with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a transformation and change leader in a similar role, leading medium-large scale transformation programs.
3. Extensive digital & application transformation, team & delivery Management, business process & improvements management experience.
4. Management consultant led approach to communications and interfacing with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
5. Technical background in Applications - SW Development management with strong experience in cloud solutions and legacy application architecture design (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, On-Prem), DevOps. Apps development and Waterfall - Agile methodology
