The Opportunity

POSITION SUMMARY

Sephora Engineering division is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, inventive architect to work on Sephora’s award-winning iOS app. Your work on the Sephora app impacts millions of clients across North America.

You will have the opportunity to analyze the big picture and perform tactical decision making that supports the strategic direction of Sephora, IT and the Engineering team. You will exercise these responsibilities in compliance with Sephora policies and standards along with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, scalable solutions to complex technical problems.
• Contribute technical expertise to defining the overall mobile strategy.
• Define coding standards and best practices for the larger iOS team.
• Create, own, and maintain internal libraries and SDKs.
• Partner with product, design, QA and fellow engineers to determine the best way to meet business requirements.
• Own and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for the mobile team.
• Proactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the app.
  
  

About You

• 8+ years experience in developing iOS applications.
• Ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical teammates.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Extensive experience architecting and building scalable solutions for complex issues.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated.

The annual base salary range for this position is $163,260.00 - $181,400.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
