The Opportunity:

As a Java Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in the full software development lifecycle. You'll be involved in the research, design, and development of cutting-edge systems software, innovative software applications, and powerful tools for our exciting new programs and subprograms. Your contributions will also extend to enhancing, modifying, and ensuring the smooth operation of our existing software solutions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting and participating in the research, design, and development of systems software, software applications, and tools for new products and programs.
• Taking ownership of coding, rigorously testing, seamlessly integrating, and thoroughly documenting your software solutions.
• Exercising your creative thinking and ideation skills to identify opportunities and drive advancements in our business performance.
• Delivering innovative, flexible, and seamlessly integrated solutions that effectively meet the evolving business needs of our valued customers.
• Contributing actively to the software design, implementation, and verification processes, ensuring the incorporation of best practice security development principles.
• Responsibility for enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software, maintaining its reliability and efficiency.
• Participating in the development of long-range planning initiatives for exciting new projects.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Solid understanding and practical experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, allowing you to tackle complex challenges effectively.
• A commitment to software best practices, including thorough Unit and Integration testing.
• Knowledge of established software engineering design patterns and the ability to apply them appropriately.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and completely, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.

• Good oral and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective collaboration.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Windows/Linux application development.

• Familiarity with RDBMS systems, with a preference for MSSQL Server.
• A strong foundation in advanced data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and network protocols.
• Experience in WEB application development.
