We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Global Cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Cybersecurity principles and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. This role involves monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and assisting in the implementation of security measures to protect our company’s information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the interface between Managed SOC and the company to coordinate security operations
• Work closely with the Managed SOC to analyze security events and collaborate on incident response
• Manage and maintain vulnerability management processes
• Collaborate with IT teams for timely vulnerability remediation / mitigation
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Co-ordinate and deliver security awareness training and simulated phishing campaigns to staff
• Support the qualification of new services from security perspective as part of the global demand management process
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, NDR, and vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and a willingness to continue learning.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of network security, Zero Trust, etc.
• Knowledge of OT/Industrial security would be an advantage.
• Experience in Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, Microsoft XDR, and other Microsoft Security Solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
