Project manager - technology transformation

The positions are based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland, and you will join our Transformation Management team, which is part of BEC’s Technology Transformation Program. The Program aims at renewing a large portion of BEC’s current products, transitioning them from an aging technology stack to updated and modern technologies.

The area is responsible for supporting and following up on the progress of the Tech Transformation Program and ensuring the progression of the programs as well as driving selected transformational projects and initiatives.

The project manager role offers an impactful role in BEC’s Technology Transformation division, setting direction and ensuring progress in various transformational projects. As a project manager, you will be looking ahead and creating plans for successful implementation, offering a unique opportunity to grow a broad network within the organization. You will be working in a team of highly skilled and motivated technical and transformation project leaders, PMO- and management consultants

At BEC, we prefer office collaboration but also allow remote work up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Sanne Sommer Lyster.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Scope management: Help in determining and documenting the project goals, tasks, and deliverables as a part of the planning process in collaboration with track leads
• Time / plan management: Detailing and developing timelines for project completion. Proactively build and maintain integrated roadmap for the technology transformation. Help actively manage dependencies between tracks & with key stakeholders
• Risk management: Support identification and assessment of risks and potential roadblocks to the technology transformation plan, and establish strategies and mitigating actions preventing risks from occurring
• Issue management: Efficiently manage and resolve problems occurring and coach and guide peers and colleagues on issue handling
• Communication: Provide clear and concise communication enabling a transparent view of the project progress to all levels in the organization, including senior management presentations
• Stakeholder management: Proactively engaging with stakeholders, managing expectations, and supporting the implementation of transformational activities
  
  
  

To succeed you will have:

• At least three years of experience within project or program management
• An updated project management toolbox including experience with change management analysis and implementation
• Familiarity with newer technologies like AI and cloud
• Ability to communicate technical matters in a clear and straightforward manner
• A persistent and pro-active mindset, and the ability to get stakeholders onboard
• Self-motivated and structured working approach
• Relevant educational background, preferably at master’s level
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Experience from scrum/agile organization (Jira/Confluence)
