DevOps Engineer

Infosys is seeking a DevOps Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in Java and DevOps
• Strong Coding knowledge in Java
• Hands on experience on Infrastructure setup and management including Cloud
• Strong understanding of building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Tooling exposure- Lightspeed Enterprise, Team city, Jenkins, uDeploy
• Observability- Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telementry
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.
• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects.
• In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture, practical experience with Microservices
• Cloud Native Applications Development
• Good knowledge of API design is a must.
• Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD tools is required.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven design is must.
• Strong analytical skills
• A high degree of initiative and flexibility, high customer orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
