Network Engineer

12 month contract + possible extensions

Hybrid 1x per week in Toronto

Pay: $55-65/hr incorp

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in Networking Service Desk roles in the Tier 3 level
• Provide tier 3 network support, troubleshooting complex incidents and resolving critical infrastructure issues.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring security compliance and network stability.
• Manage and deploy F5 load balancers, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) functionalities.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address latency, security vulnerabilities, and capacity concerns.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce firewall policies, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and security threats to continuously improve network resilience.

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Service Desk - Tier 3 Specialist to provide advanced technical support and network infrastructure solutions within our banking environment.
