Data Scientist (f/m/d)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and translate them into analytical use cases and data-driven solutions
  • Select, ingest and prepare data, including cleansing, normalization and feature engineering to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, validate assumptions and support model development through visualization and statistics
  • Build, validate and optimize machine learning and statistical models with a focus on robustness and scalability
  • Interpret results within a business context, translate findings into actionable insights and contribute to decision-making processes
  • Work with IT and operations teams to deploy models into production, monitor performance and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act and cybersecurity standards, while contributing to innovation and identifying new use cases

  • Do you have on hands experience in a similar position in industries with large, high-frequency or geospatial datasets and do you have a strong proficiency in data mining, mathematics and statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering and dimensionality reduction?
  • Are you proficient in working with Python, SQL and any vizualisation tool, and are you ideally familiar with big data technologies on GCP (Vertex AI)?
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex models and findings to non-technical stakeholders?
