Senior Project Manager – Telecom

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the Core Commerce Program for a leading telecom client. This role is critical in aligning project delivery with strategic business goals while ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager will work across multiple workstreams, coordinate with diverse teams, and manage senior-level stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program & Project Coordination

• Manage planning, execution, and delivery of the Core Commerce program.
• Coordinate activities across multiple interdependent workstreams.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates and ensure transparency in communication.

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Monitor budgets, allocate resources effectively, and control costs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management within the telecom industry.
• Fluency in both English and Finnish is mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of telecom industry standards, systems, and practices.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, PMP, Prince2, etc.).

Preferred Attributes:

• Telecom billing, CRM, or Core Commerce system experience.
• Certifications in Program/Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2).
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and work in multi-stakeholder environments.
