Job title: Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Job type: Contract

Contract Length: Until the end of the year (extension guaranteed)

Rate: €300 - 400 per day

Role Location: Remote (Must be based in Europe)

The company: We are working with a European fintech company who are transforming the landscape of international payments for both e-commerce and retail businesses.

Role And Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support a cutting-edge AI-driven application.
Integrate and optimise generative AI models, ensuring performance, reliability, and effective resource usage.
Design and develop a modern, responsive frontend using Angular, delivering a seamless and engaging user experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering leadership to translate business needs into clear technical solutions.
Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle — from initial development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.

Job Requirements

Brings over four years of experience in Python, with a strong focus on backend development and integration of AI/ML capabilities.
Demonstrates deep knowledge of client-server architecture and expertise in building APIs using REST and GraphQL.
Skilled in frontend development with Angular, with more than two years of experience creating responsive, user-centric interfaces.
Possesses a solid understanding of data science principles and workflows.
Proven track record in deploying and scaling AI-powered applications within production environments.
Well-versed in cloud infrastructure (with a preference for AWS) and experienced in using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
