About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (M/F/D) to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, helping elevate DevOps practices to the next level. You will collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and consultants to ensure continuous integration and delivery while developing innovative solutions for clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Planning, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
• Automating infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Docker
• Monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure high availability and scalability of applications
• Collaborating with software developers to improve development and deployment processes
• Consulting and supporting clients in implementing and optimizing their DevOps practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments to ensure smooth and efficient system operation

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software development and the operation of IT systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Strong skills in automation and configuration management with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in IT consulting and collaborating with clients to solve complex technical challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

Additional Information:

• German language proficiency at least C1 level is required
• All candidates must be able to communicate effectively as they will have customer contact
• Candidates must be capable of generating their own projects from Day 1, so acquisition skills and a proactive mindset are essential
• Salary is strongly performance-based, with a base salary range of €65-75K depending on experience
• Location is flexible; however, candidates must be willing to travel when required by the client
• The tech stack is open and flexible as long as it complements the existing portfolio
