Wood is strengthening our position within the energy business and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to help us deliver exciting new projects within oil, gas and renewables.

As Senior Project Manager you will be part of the Leadership Team in the Business Area Projects & Modifications. This Leadership Team comprise of Project Managers, support functions and leaders of Business Units. You will be instrumental in our future oil&gas project executions and your overall responsibility will be to manage assigned projects with regards to achievement of HSE, Quality and Schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large, multidiscipline projects, from early phase studies to EPCI execution; overall responsible for HSEQ and all commercial and technical aspects of project delivery
  • Support tender activities within the Business Area
  • Participate in strategy development for the Business Area
  • Actively contribute with input/reviews for the company’s project execution tools to ensure alignment with project execution needs
  • Develop customer relationships during project execution
  • Establish relationships and agreements with relevant project partners and suppliers

Qualifications

  • University degree in Science/Business
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and deep understanding and overview of all tasks to be performed within Project Management
  • EPCI project experience
    • Experience from Study, FEED, Tender & project execution phases
    • Experience from execution medium / high complexity EPC/EPCI/EPCMa projects
    • Experienced in contract management, commercial mechanisms and negotiations
    • In-depth knowledge of Project Management wrt. to planning and scheduling, cost control and forecasting, risk and change management and internal/external reporting of project status
    • Technical experience from the oil & gas business considered positive
    • International experience considered positive
  • Leadership experience
    • Experienced in leading people and teams
    • Experienced in working with improvements processes
  • Other preferred skills
  • Being structured & systematic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English
