Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

Location: Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA (3 days/week onsite)

Local candidates that can interview in person

***Must have experience from financial services and specifically asset/wealth management***

Looking for a Senior Project Manager/ Scrum Master with good financial services experience. This is a contract position and this person can work from the Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA office (hybrid- 3 days a week onsite).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with project leaders to define project scope, business requirements, dependencies, resources, critical deliverables, timelines and success criteria.
• Build detailed project plans and communicate milestones to key collaborators.
• Ensure all parties are on track with project requirements and resolve issues.
• Report on project status via regular project meetings and engage with executives periodically.
• Work directly with development team, operations team, project managers, and traders.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Project manager/ Scrum Master working in financial services (strong knowledge within Asset Management/ Portfolio management).
• Strong team building and meeting facilitation skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and consensus building skills.
• Good experience working with and collaborating with multiple teams- developers, PM's, Operations, etc.
• A deep understanding of agile principles and the Scrum framework
• Good experience running Scrum Meetings.
• Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Adaptable, innovative problem-solver. Strong negotiation skills.
• Scrum Master Certified
