UAT Specialist

Job Purpose:

• Plan and manage User Acceptance Test (UAT) with coordination with the business testers and the vendor.
• Review and enhance testing processes, methodology, and governance.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
• Ensure that all testing activities allow applications, systems, or services to meet business and end-users requirements, with identification of existing and potential issues and defects.
• Provide IT support of Business Simulation (BSIM) activities run by other departments.
• Lead the defect management process and centrally manage all IT systems related defects being raised from any testing phase.
• Ensure quality of all deliverables from IT projects.
• Provide the acceptance sign-off of any vendor deliverable.
• Ensure proper coordination of all activities within the team and with other units.

Accountabilities:

• Creating a detailed project plan segment for the testing phases and managing progress cross functionally.
• Supporting Product Managers and their effectiveness in responding to demands for customer experience to be delivered on time.
• Preparation of plan for testing of the new product(s) within their line area and assist line
• management.
• Manage activities and timelines, milestones with project management.
• Communicating with involved line organisation to customer experience fulfilment. You will
• Provide regular updates from line organization to support conformance to testing and C/E plan.
• Schedule regular (weekly) testing-specific project meetings for cross-functional discussions and line organisation updates.
• Hands-on bug management tools like, Jira and HP ALM.
• Experience on working on Agile based project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred Certifications / Other Qualifications
• 7+ years' experience in a QA Test Execution specific phase of the software development life cycle, especially Agile, Test-Driven Development, and Waterfall.
• Should be specialized in automating mobile testing using Core Java, Selenium and Appium
• Experience in hybrid scripting experience key word and Data driven automation frameworks and Behavioral Data Driven, TestNG.

Skills:

• Should be specialized in automating mobile testing using Robot framework and Appium
• Should have automation hands on experience with Selenium
• Have strong VB scripting experience.
• Experience in hybrid, key word and data driven automation frameworks.
• Design, build and execute automation scripts to validate the applications using Selenium.
• Identify the regression needs, create and maintain automation regression suite.
• Experience in Mobile automation using HP mobile center would be a great value add.
• Good to have experience in CI tools like Jenkins, Hudson.
• Good to have experience in manual testing.
• Experience in Web and mobile application testing.
