Your Role
We're looking for a Backend Infrastructure Developer who’s excited to modernise core systems and build rock-solid backend solutions. You'll be at the heart of making platform faster, more reliable, and easier to scale—so other teams can focus on building great features.
You’ll help phase out legacy code, improve cloud infrastructure, and shape how we build software at scale.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Build scalable backend services – Develop high-performance solutions using C#/.NET, with clean, well-documented code.
- Modernise the architecture – Replace legacy components and contribute to a well-structured, future-proof backend.
- Own features end-to-end – From design and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
- Optimise CI/CD & Azure infrastructure – Collaborate with DevOps to streamline pipelines and cloud deployments.
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar backend-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of C#/.NET Core, SQL, and modern software architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure (or a similar cloud platform): deploying, managing, and optimising apps.
- Proven ability to refactor legacy code and improve performance (especially SQL).
- Experience breaking up monolithic codebases into services or modules.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Bicep).
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Awareness of security best practices in cloud-based systems.
