Bid, Delivery and Services Manager

For their location in Kranj, we are seeking a Bid, Delivery, and Services Manager - an experienced leader with extensive expertise in managing complex projects and tenders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to empower and support their team, align customer needs with company capabilities, and hold a university degree in a relevant technical field.

In this role, you will lead two departments with a combined total of 10 employees. These teams are responsible for the end-to-end management of tender projects in the energy solutions sector - from tender submission to execution - and for providing support to major clients and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities:

• Leading, planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of the organizational unit.
• Preparing plans and strategies within the area of responsibility.
• Managing procedures for planning and delivering bid projects through all phases, from compliance with tender requirements to the point when the project is handed over to the delivery team.
• Managing the delivery of projects according to agreed KPIs and within the agreed budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Managing the customer service department and following up on open issues and questions in line with agreed SLAs.
• Working to align customer expectations with the technical and/or business capacity of the company.
• Managing partnership agreements involving external components to complement solutions.
• Ensuring the optimization of work in the organizational unit.
• Monitoring and optimizing the costs of the organizational unit.
• Managing the delivery and services portfolio.
• Managing resources in the process of solution preparation, design, and testing.
• Identifying opportunities for further business growth.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a technical field or natural science.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Certificate in project management.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, ideally within the communications, electronics, technical industries, or utilities and energy distribution sectors. Background in bid management and project delivery is an advantage.
• Great team-management skills.
• Ability to work in an international-multicultural environment.
