Senior Android Systems Developer – Connected Vehicle Platforms

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Android Systems Developer to work on the forefront of automotive connectivity. In this role, you will focus on native Android development within embedded infotainment platforms, supporting advanced system features and cross-platform scalability for electronic control units (ECUs).

Core Responsibilities

·       Android Native Development – Design and implement Android applications and system services tailored for automotive environments.

·       System Feature Implementation – Develop and support key system functions, including ECU power modes, screen cleaning, safe mode, user notifications, and media playback control.

·       Cross-Team Support – Collaborate with other development teams to integrate and scale software components across multiple ECU platforms and vehicle generations.

·       Bug Handling – Manage full-cycle bug reporting and resolution for assigned features and systems.

·       Testing & Validation – Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and verification of all team-owned applications.

·       Feature Delivery – Ensure complete delivery of Android V features including power moding, UTC time sync, MPCS, hardware switch integration, and cybersecurity-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

·       Strong hands-on experience with Android native development in embedded systems.

·       Solid understanding of automotive software architecture, particularly infotainment systems.

·       Demonstrated ability to work with complex system interactions and power management.

·       Proficiency in debugging, testing, and delivering production-grade software in a team setting.

·  Experience with ECU development and integration is a strong plus
