We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Developer with deep security expertise to join our Montreal-based team. If you specialize in RFID/BLE security, cryptographic algorithms, and secure embedded systems, this is a high-impact role helping shape the future of electronic access and lock systems.

🔐 What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and enhance secure embedded firmware for electronic locks and access management systems.
• Implement and verify secure bootloaders, firmware signing, and OTA update security mechanisms.
• Review, integrate, and optimize cryptographic protocols including key management, encryption, and authentication tailored to RFID and BLE technologies.
• Identify and mitigate potential security threats such as unauthorized access and credential cloning.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and industry best practices for electronic access control systems.
  
  

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, with a strong focus on device-level security.
• Proficient in C programming, and experienced with STM32, ARM Cortex-M, FreeRTOS, and Zephyr.
• In-depth knowledge of RFID/BLE security mechanisms, cryptographic algorithms, and secure element chips.
• Practical experience with secure bootloaders, firmware encryption, and over-the-air (OTA) update security.
• Understanding of hardware security modules (HSMs) and embedded encryption technologies.
