ROLE: Senior .NET (C#) Developer – IoT Communication & Hardware Protocols (Fullstack)

📍 Hybrid – Montreal, QC | 💰 $100K–$120K CAD | 🧠 5–10 Years Experience

Are you a passionate .NET Developer with hands-on experience in IoT and hardware communication protocols? We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our cloud platform services team building cutting-edge security and access management applications for smart homes and vacation rentals.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and fullstack applications using .NET C#, ASP.NET, and Angular.
  • Architect and deploy cloud-native microservices using modern development principles (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI).
  • Work closely with firmware teams to support secure device communication and IoT functionality.
  • Debug and optimize code for performance and reliability in a production environment.
  • Collaborate using Agile/SAFe methodologies and test-driven development.
  • Leverage data to design and deliver new features that improve user experience.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack software development.
  • Strong expertise in .NET C#, ASP.NET, RESTful APIs, async programming, and microservices.
  • Frontend experience with Angular.
  • Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware protocols (USB, IP/UDP, HTTP/S) and IoT communications (Zigbee, BLE).
  • Experience working in Agile environments with modern version control and software engineering best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

✨ Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
