Our international defence client is looking for an Incident Resolver/Network Consulting Engineer to work on a long term contract based 5 days per week on site in Mons. The candidate would require an active UK SC or NATO Secret clearance before starting the position.

Duties:
Under the direction of ESOC Duty Control Officer or NaaS Senior Service Engineer, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
- Act as the focal point to engage with Contractor’s Help desk for incidents related to Networking and Transmission services
- Propose and implement solutions to technical and business challenges in support of services and project managers;
- Day-to-day operation of routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure of local and remote sites;
- Overseeing the incident management process and team members involved in resolving the incident.
- Responding to reported service incidents, identifying the cause, and initiating the incident management process.
- Prioritizing incidents according to their urgency and influence on the business.
- Investigating incidents.
- Managing incident reporting and documentation.
- Handling communications and engage stakeholders related to incidents.
- Investigate and propose long term solutions to re-occurring problems and identify areas for greater efficiency to Line Managers as well as Services and Project Managers;
- Performs other duties as may be required.
