Edenthorpe Search have been tasked to identify a highly motivated and results-oriented MLRO (Money Laundering and Reporting Officer) Compliance Officer to join a fast growing crypto organisation in Swizterland & Liechtenstein. The candidate may reside in the principality or Swiss border towns, if you are based in Switzerland you must travel 2 days a week to Vaduz.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain effective AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) policies and procedures in accordance with Liechtenstein/Swiss regulations.
• Work closely with the regulator on all licencing matters and reporting
• Conduct ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on individuals and businesses.
• Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report any potential breaches to the relevant authorities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AML/CFT regulations and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure compliance across the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar AML/CFT compliance role.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Proven ability to identify and report suspicious activity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and German (essential).
• Residency in Liechtenstein or close proximity in Switzerland (e.g., border towns).
