Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Develop: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Java applications with a strong focus on microservices.

• Cloud Solutions: Build and optimize cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services, including ECS, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, DevOps engineers, and key stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver impactful software solutions.

• Technical Leadership: Lead architectural decisions and advocate for best practices while remaining hands-on in Java development.

• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide and support less experienced developers, fostering best practices and continuous learning within the team.

• Microservices Expertise: Design, develop, and deploy resilient, fault-tolerant microservices that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive Java Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, including J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.

• Cloud Proficiency: Strong experience with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS.

• Database Expertise: Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) with experience in database design, scaling, and optimization.

• Microservices Architecture: Proven experience designing and developing microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• API Development: Expertise in designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs for scalable and efficient communication between services.

• Search & Logging Technologies: Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana for data indexing, search, and visualization.

• Build & Dependency Management: Proficiency in Maven/Gradle for dependency management and project build automation.

• Caching & Performance Optimization: Experience with Redis for caching, session management, and performance improvements.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: A keen analytical thinker with the ability to debug, optimize, and enhance complex applications.

• Cloud-Native Development: Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in AWS environments.

• DevOps & CI/CD Knowledge: Proficiency in Git, GitHub/GitLab, and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business and technical success.

• Education & Experience: A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent real- world experience.

Desired Skills:

• Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting solutions, including tools like CloudFormation, Grafana, or CloudWatch, to proactively manage system performance and reliability.
