Middle Java Software Engineer

IF YOU ARE

• Showing commercial expertise in Java (4+ years)
• Skilled in SQL, writing efficient queries, and designing schemas
• Aware of software engineering best practices: thoughtful design, clean code, comprehensive tests
• Effective at clearly communicating your ideas in English
• Familiar with functional programming, React, Redis, AWS, or Terraform (would be a plus)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Build, maintain, and improve highly performant batch systems written with clean, well-tested code
• Maintain and improve our internal UI for managing our ad program
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a team culture of continuous improvement
• Work with non-technical stakeholders, supporting requests for data analysis and new data pipelines
• Participate in daily triage rotation, identifying system-wide issues and alerting the teams responsible
• Tackle technical challenges in data handling, query optimization, and memory efficiency
