What You'll Do:
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS.
- Design systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery in mind.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to align cloud architecture with business needs.
- Lead infrastructure modernization, including containerization (e.g., ECS, EKS), serverless architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK).
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001) and best security practices.
- Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of production workloads.
- Mentor teams on AWS best practices and lead architecture reviews.
Tech Environment:
- Cloud: AWS (VPC, EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, Aurora, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudTrail)
- DevOps: Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, CloudWatch, AWS Config
- Security & Compliance: KMS, IAM Policies, GuardDuty, Secrets Manager
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Qualifications:
- Multiple years of IT experience working as an AWS Architect or in a similar cloud leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, architecture patterns, and cloud-native design.
- Experience in highly regulated industries (ideally financial services or FinTech).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and identity/access management.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional) is a strong plus.
