What’s the role?

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you play a vital role in developing and maintaining technical solutions on the public cloud, ensuring that the detailed design, build, and operations are fit for purpose.

In this role, you will design, build, and automate AWS services, ensuring security, compliance, and cost-efficiency. You will oversee the deployment and operations of AWS-enabled environments and tools, driving continuous improvement by applying Lean and Design Thinking methodologies.

You will mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Engaging with customers to gather requirements and plan deliveries, you will also diagnose and resolve complex service issues and liaise with stakeholders and suppliers to maintain effective communication.

What do I need?

• Bring your deep expertise in AWS technologies, including architecture styles, design patterns, security, compliance automation, and automated provisioning.
• Demonstrated proficiency in microservices architecture and supporting technologies.
• Proven skills in customer engagement, relationship development, requirements gathering, and delivery planning & scheduling.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and proficiency in scripting languages (Terraform, Bash/Shell, Ruby, JSON, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across AWS technologies and multiple consumption models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
• Relevant technical certifications in Kubernetes and AWS.
