DevOps Technical Lead

DevOps Technical Lead (m/f/d)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Why are we looking for you?

Our client is seeking reinforcement in technical leadership and project management with a strong focus on DevOps. As a DevOps Technical Lead, you will play a central role in guiding their global team and ensuring that their projects and operations run smoothly. Your expertise will help them achieve their goal of bi-annual software releases and steer their team in the same direction.

Your responsibilities:

• Take on technical leadership and project management for the client's global team
• Oversee the release of new software every six months, with the next release scheduled for September
• Lead the team in developing and implementing an application that their customers can deploy in their own cloud
• Manage additional tasks arising from team operations
• Introduce and manage a new ticketing system for future tasks
• Collaborate with the client's DevOps team, which is strong in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and other relevant technologies

Must-have skills:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps
• Expertise in Kubernetes
• Experience with Blackduck and Artifactory (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Kuverity (nice to have)

About you:

• You have previous experience in a similar role as a technical lead or project manager
• You possess excellent project management skills and can successfully lead a team
• You can identify technical problems and develop effective solutions
• You are flexible and open to trying new ways of working and processes within the team
• You are willing to work 3 days per week on-site in Zurich and the remaining 2 days remotely

The client's team:

• The DevOps team consists of 8 experts from various countries (global team)
• The team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters, where their agents run and tests are performed
• You will also work on ops-related features, such as deploying applications in Asia
• You will build and configure Helm Charts for deployment
