IT Project Manager/Product Owner

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager/Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of our data-centric products, from initial concept through development, launch, continuous improvement, and eventual retirement. This role is crucial in defining the product vision and overseeing its entire evolution. As IT Project Manager/Product Owner you will work closely with client and technical teams to deliver a customized product that meets customer/market requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects from scratch to completion while ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
• Act as a Product Owner, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Develop project plans, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution of project tasks and milestones
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and work proactively to mitigate them to ensure successful delivery
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize product backlog items, ensuring that user stories meet the quality standards for implementation
• Conduct regular project meetings, generating reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and performance metrics
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as IT Project Manager or It Product Owner (at least 3 years), with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product ownership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Proficient in project management tools and software, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
• Experience in the software development lifecycle and familiarity with software engineering practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and achievement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
• Availability to work from the office at least 3 days a week
