Head - Portfolio Optimization Analysis (Analyst role)

We are looking for Head - Portfolio Optimization Analysis, who has an experience of 8+ years in business portfolio optimization and business analysis of Qatari Diar's investment and development portfolio.

It will be an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating market intelligence research.
• Designing feasibility study templates and tools for understanding value drivers for different real estate segments.
• Determining criteria needed for portfolio optimization to assess attractiveness of opportunities in each segment.
• Gathering market analysis data from different teams and developing financial models running different scenarios and upside/ downside guide rails.
• Managing reporting oversight to monitor progress/ achievement of the agreed business plans.
• Assisting asset management in feasibility studies for asset acquisition/ disposal/ re-structuring.
• Assisting portfolio optimization in pressure testing of current asset by providing necessary inputs on financial models.
• Attending hand over meetings during project delivery and share inputs to Development management and asset management to optimize real estate portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics or engineering with strong background in project management.

Master's degree in business administration from a well-known institute.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in finance with at least 2 years in real estate.
• Experience in financial models, analysis and executive reporting.
• Prior real estate experience in GCC/ Qatar region with an in-depth knowledge of local real estate market.
• Deep understanding of feasibility studies, master development design and marketing.
