Description :

For our client in Hasselt, we are looking for an experienced Lead Developer who not only actively contributes to the development of software projects but also leads the development team. Do you have a passion for technology? Then this role might be perfect for you!

Your Role :

As a Lead Developer, you are the link between the development team and the CTO. You ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. You provide first-line support to the team and escalate issues to the CTO when needed. You proactively contribute ideas and ensure code quality is maintained.

Your Responsibilities :

• Actively develop and configure software solutions
• Plan, coordinate, and manage software projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Analyze and document solutions
• Use your technical expertise to support team members and improve projects
• Implement and maintain coding standards and quality guidelines
• Identify opportunities for technological improvements and implement effective solutions
• Lead and support the development team

What We Expect From You :

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience as a developer, including several years in a leadership role
• Extensive experience in software development with in-depth knowledge of the development process
• Excellent knowledge of .NET and Python
• Experience with Angular and Azure is a strong plus
• Willingness to learn new technologies and languages
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Strong communication skills and a true team player
• Attention to detail and a focus on code quality
