Business Analyst / Product Owner (Finnish Speaking)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with fluency in Finnish and English to join our Agile delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in story analysis, customer interaction, and Agile practices. Familiarity with Java APIs is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the customer and development team by gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Understand customer pain points and translate them into clear, actionable Jira stories or technical documentation.
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as scrum calls, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Facilitate customer demo sessions, gathering feedback and aligning the team on expectations.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure proper implementation of business needs.
• Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Provide support in testing and validating solutions delivered to the customer.

Required Skills:

• Fluency in Finnish and English (verbal and written).
• 6–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• Experience working directly with customers to gather and analyze requirements.
• Ability to drive discussions independently and document outcomes clearly.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

• Basic knowledge or understanding of Java APIs and software development processes.
• Previous experience working with GUI or Rich Client applications.
