FPGA & Embedded Systems Engineer – Space Robotics

We are seeking an experienced FPGA & Embedded Systems Engineer to help design and implement mission-critical systems for autonomous space applications. From robotic arms on satellites to planetary exploration systems, your work will directly contribute to the future of off-Earth automation.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ for firmware development
• Familiarity with SoC FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx Zynq, Intel Stratix)
• Solid understanding of real-time systems, digital signal processing, and robotics control
• Experience with tools such as Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, and MATLAB/Simulink

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Background in space systems, aerospace standards (e.g., ECSS, DO-254), or radiation-hardened electronics
• Experience in autonomous robotic systems, SLAM, or robotic manipulators
• Knowledge of space communication protocols (e.g., SpaceWire, CAN, or CCSDS)
• Familiarity with ROS 2, sensor fusion, and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Understanding of fault-tolerant design and redundant system architectures
