Android & Platform App Developers – Automotive Infotainment

We are looking for mid-to-senior level Android and C++ Developers to join our team working on next-generation infotainment systems. The assignment involves both user-facing Android application development and system-level platform development to support a scalable and high-performance in-car experience across multiple ECUs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt Android apps for Charging, Car Status, and Drive Settings to new screen sizes and system specifications
• Develop system-level Android services including:
• Power moding, UTC time handling
• Media Playback Control Service (MPCS)
• Safe mode, screen cleaning, and notifications
• Bug report/log collection
• Day/Night mode switching
• Integrate hardware/software via Android HAL
• Support adaptation to new Android versions
• Collaborate across teams for platform consistency and performance improvements

Required Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Android and/or C++ development
• Proven experience with Android application development using Java/Kotlin
• Strong understanding of AOSP and native development (NDK)
• Experience in Linux environments
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
• Master’s degree in Software Engineering or similar
• Valid driver’s license (Category B) – required for in-car testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive and infotainment domains
• Familiarity with Jira, Teamcenter, Car Weaver
• Background in international and cross-functional teams
