We are currently looking for an Android Application Engineer for an assignment with our client in Gothenburg. In this role, you will have a key position in driving development and delivering high-quality Android-based solutions.

• Take ownership of projects – lead and drive the development process forward, ensuring high-quality deliveries.
• Collaborate with customers – build and maintain strong relationships to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Design and implement systems – leverage your expertise in Android, Java, Kotlin, and SQL/databases to develop robust and efficient applications.
• Apply creative problem-solving – contribute new ideas and innovative approaches when facing technical challenges.
• Work with HMI and graphics – participate in the development of user-facing interfaces and related subsystems.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Android development, with a strong interest in HMI, graphics, and adjacent subsystems. You stay up to date with the latest technologies in your field and enjoy sharing knowledge with others.

• Strong experience in Android development
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
• Experience with SQL and databases
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Experience with communication protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets, REST, or gRPC
• Experience working with CAN
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
